The paid diagnostic · Before we build

The Audit.

Before anyone builds anything, we find out what is actually worth building.

The free call tells you where your bottleneck probably is. The Audit proves it. I go into your business for a week or two, sit with the people who actually do the work, and come back with a plan you can hold in one hand.

It is not a form. It is not a quiz. It is not a generic report stitched together from a survey. It is me, in your business, figuring out where your time and money are leaking and what it is worth to stop it.

You do not buy the Audit cold. We start with the free call. If it is a fit, that is where I walk you through it. Not sure yet? Run the 60-second bottleneck check.

The middle step, on purpose

Three steps. Most people skip the middle one, then wonder why the build solved a problem they did not actually have.

  • The call. Free, fifteen minutes. We find the bottleneck you already feel and you leave with a priority list, even if we never work together.
  • The Audit. Paid. One to two weeks. I prove where the real money is, across your whole operation, and hand you the plan.
  • The build. The Setups the Audit told us to build, in the order it told us to build them.

Three phases, one to two weeks

01

Discovery interviews

I talk to the people who actually do the work, starting with you, then whoever else touches it. Not a questionnaire. I ask them to show me, not tell me, and I keep asking why until we hit the real reason. I am hunting for the parts of the job everyone quietly hates.
02

Opportunity mapping

I take everything those interviews surface and sort it by what it is worth to fix. Every pain gets plotted: how much time and money it bleeds, and how hard it is to stop. The noise falls away and three or four real moves are left standing.
03

The readout

We sit down and I walk you through a one-page plan: the bottom line, what is actually going on, the moves ranked by return, real numbers on each, and your first thirty days. You keep it whether you hire me to build or not.

One page. A week or two of work behind it.

Anyone can hand you a fifty-page report you will never open. The hard part is going into your business, finding what actually matters, and fitting it on one page you will use. That page is the distillation of a week or two of work: the interviews, your whole operation mapped, the leaks measured. Here is what is on it.

  • The bottom line, up top. The verdict in one sentence, so you know the answer before you read the rest. ("Your phone is the bottleneck. It is costing you about $4,000 a month. Fix it first.")
  • The situation and the complication. Where the business is now, and what is quietly working against you.
  • Three moves, ranked by return. Each with a real cost, a timeline, the savings, and the payback. Not ideas. Numbers.
  • The headline math. What the whole thing is worth over a year if you do nothing else. One number you cannot unsee.
  • Your next thirty days, so you walk out with a move, not a maybe.

It is not a short report. It is a distilled one. Every line earned its place.

Quick Win, Big Swing, Foundation

Every opportunity the Audit finds lands in one of three buckets. That ranking is what tells us which Setup to build first.

Quick Win

Cheap, fast, and it pays for itself almost immediately. We usually do this one first to fund the rest.

Big Swing

More to build, but the return is the kind that changes how the business runs. The reason you did the Audit.

Foundation

Not flashy, but everything else leans on it. Build it once and the next three moves get easier.

Because understanding beats a free guess

A free audit is worth what you pay for it. The reason this one works is that I actually go in, talk to your people, and do the work to understand the business before I recommend a dollar of build. You are not paying for a document. You are paying for someone to find the money you cannot see from inside it.

And the Audit is the on-ramp, not the product. The real work is the build behind it. But I would rather hand you a clear-eyed plan you can take anywhere than talk you into a build neither of us is sure about.

What it costs
$2,500
Two-week turnaround
$5,000
One-week turnaround

Same diagnostic either way. The only difference is speed: two weeks at $2,500, or one week at $5,000 when you need the answer now. We lock it on the call, before you commit to anything.

The guarantee, in plain English: if the Audit does not surface named, fixable leaks worth more than you paid for it, you do not pay for it.

Right now I am only taking the next 2 calls.

Questions people ask before the call

Why is the Audit paid when other people give them away?
A free audit is worth what you pay for it. The person handing it out already decided what to sell you, and the audit points there. I charge for the diagnosis so the diagnosis is the product, not bait for a build. You are paying me to find the money you cannot see from inside the business. If the right call is to build nothing yet, I will tell you that.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
Two weeks at $2,500, or one week at $5,000 when you need the answer now. Same diagnostic either way. The only difference is speed, and we lock it on the call before you commit to anything.
What do I walk away with?
A prioritized plan. Every place time and money leak, plotted by what it costs you and how hard it is to fix, with a one-sentence verdict up top so you know the answer before you read the detail. It is yours to keep whether or not you ever hire me to build it.
Do I have to build with you afterward?
No. The Audit is the on-ramp, not the product, and it stands on its own. Take the plan and build it yourself, hand it to someone else, or have me do it. None of the price assumes you continue.
Who actually does the Audit?
I do. J Ritter. I go into the business, sit with the people who do the work, and ask them to show me, not tell me. It is not a questionnaire and it does not get handed to a junior.

It starts with the call.

Fifteen minutes, free. We find the bottleneck, and if the Audit is the right next move, I will tell you so. If it is not, I will tell you that too.

What lands in your hands

One page. The whole answer.

Not a fifty-slide deck nobody reads. A week or two of work, distilled: the bottom line up top, the three moves ranked by return, real numbers on each, and your first thirty days. You keep it whether you build with me or not.

Bottom line

Your front desk is the leak. Automating intake and follow-up frees about 18 hours a week and recovers revenue you lose to slow response.

Situation

Three people touch every new lead. Nothing is logged in one place.

Complication

Leads wait hours for a reply. Roughly 30% never get a second touch.
